The tea originated in the South China province of Fujian. This large leafed tea is rich, syrupy and smoky and makes a delightful blend if you add a little to your usual tea. The tea being fired over pinewoods, grown in the region, causes the smoky taste.
Brewing Instructions:
- Steeping Temperature: 100 degrees celcius
- Infuse Time: 2-3 Min
- Weight: 125grams

I ordered this tea out of curiosity, but didn’t like the smokiness – it tasted too overpowering for my preferences.

This is the most delicious tea I’ve ever tasted. It is a bit of an acquired taste, but once I did, I was addicted! We ordered it during the lockdowns and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to get it since, as it always seems to be out of stock. Could you please email me when it’s back in stock so that I can stop dreaming about the best tea in the world?
