All transactions will be processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
All prices listed on Peacock Tea & Coffee includes VAT, currently charged at 14%. Goods that are exported outside if the borders of the Republic of South Africa do not carry a VAT charge. Goods shipped to addresses within the borders of South Africa are covered by our all risk shipping policy. Shipping charges are calculated using SAPO counter-to-counter service, should you require other forms of shipping, such as courier services, this will be charged for accordingly.
Shipping charges for International orders are quote for using SAPO International Parcel Services; we however are not responsible for any additional charges payable, such as Insurance and local taxes, including local VAT and duties. Should you wish to use other forms of delivery such as International couriers, this can be arranged but will be charged for accordingly.
Peacock Tea & Coffee can not be held responsible for the failure of any carrier to deliver timorously and within their scheduled times.

Please note: that in the event of any monetary refund this amount will be South African Rands (ZAR), irrespective of any currency fluctuations since the original payment. Any refund will be made using the same format as the original payment.
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.
Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a 15% handling fee. You must advise us by email of your cancellation within 48 hours of receipt and the person who made the original purchase must sign any such cancellation. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 14 calendar days.
Please note that a refund will only be made once the goods have been received back by us, undamaged. You are responsible for the cost of the return, and it is in your own interest to ensure that parcels are insured and that you use a courier that offer a tracking service. Peacock Tea & Coffee will not be held responsible for the non-receipt of returned goods.
In the unlikely event that any goods are delivered damaged you must advise us within 48 hours of receipt, by email. Peacock reserve the right to either replace the damaged goods or if this is not possible to refund the purchase price.
A Manufactures Guarantee that various depending on the Manufacturer covers all electrical goods sold by Peacock Tea & Coffee as stated on the web site and\or manufacturers manual. Should any electrical product fail within the guarantee period you are required to notify us immediately by email stating purchases date, unique order number and a brief description of the failure. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the product at the customers expense and risk to Peacock Tea & Coffee who will facilitate the repair, or replacement should repair not be possible, and ship the product back to the customer bearing all cost and risk. Peacock Tea & Coffee is not obliged to repair products out of guarantee or have been damaged, however, in seeking to give our customer’s the best possible service will assist the customer in having the product repaired.
In the unlikely event of an ‘out of the box’ failure Peacock Tea & Coffee must be notified within 48 hours of receipt. Peacock will arrange for the return of the product and a replacement at Peacock’s expense.
Peacock Tea & Coffee have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).
The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
