Darjeeling has two distinct harvest periods, known as 1st & 2nd Flush, Teas from the first flush have a light, fresh and flowery flavour, whereas teas from the 2nd flush have a strong, full and very aromatic flavour.

This is not a great Darjeeling by any means but is does give a light, refreshing cuppa. As Darjeeling is my preferred tea I find it useful to have a stash of teabags for ease of use. But for real flavour the loose leaf Darjeeling is infinitely superior.
