Warning:

When using the kettle on a gas stovetop, adjust the flames until they re concentrated under the bottom of the kettle rather than letting them overlap the sides. A flame that is set too high will cause discoloration on the body of the kettle.
Always ensure to fill the kettle at least halfway. A kettle that is under-filled can cause the kettle to overheat, resulting in water burns, warping and discoloration on the body of the kettle
